Got new tivo working!! thanks all

Well I ordered a refurb tivo from eksys - he had a few for sale recently, got a turbonetcard from tivodownunder and a hard drive from yeahdone.com.au

I did this as a little project along with macguy (who is in another city) and we have both managed to get our tivos working great.

The wiki was a great help

One thing where we got a little stuck was hardware installation
of the hard drive and turbonet cards

The turbonet install link on the wiki is out of date

I wanted a picture of inside of the tivo and where to put hard drive / turbonet
I eventually found one below

this is my 2nd tivo - the first one was from hobotech and now its updated to 1.6.2

I had a pleasant surprise by the channel logo feature - thats pretty nice!!!
If I have time - we might write a newbies one page summary of building a tivo!

We can't use those photo's as they are copyright, but happy to fix the broken links etc. Which wiki were you following?
