Can anyone tell me what sets the next EPG scheduled call date/time?

I had assumed it was set via the prior EPG data, but I have noticed in last week or so that the scheduled calls are becoming more frequent.

For example tonight my TiVo is reporting (via Tivoweb/Phone):

Last Successful Call: Tuesday, Feb 21 at 6:56 pm
Last Call Attempt: Tuesday, Feb 21 at 6:56 pm
Last Attempt Status: Succeeded
Next Scheduled Call: Tuesday, Feb 21 at 8:22 pm
Prog. Guide Data to: Tuesday, Mar 07, 2006
Software Version: 3.0-01-1-000

Anybody have any ideas?

Hi,

I have moved this thread as it is more a general TiVo question, rather than NZ specific.

From what I believe, the next daily call is set for 24hours after indexing has been completed.

This is correct... which is why some people tend to force a call in their cron file so that the daily call will occur at a predetermined time (ie 3am, or 2pm). You might wish to have a look at this page (http://minnie.tuhs.org/twiki/bin/view/Howto/ForceDailyCall). The times 'argo' reported are a little interesting, I would say that it has yet to finish the index which is why another call is currently scheduled. Again, I think you will find that it will only call once a day...
