Hi Fellers, just a couple of nagging but not too troublesomepoints for me. I set up shows to record and the TiVo changes the channel ready to record 5 or 6 minutes before the show. This isn't a problem sometimes, but when the shows are after each other it is. The start and end times are set to on time in the respective todo areas. Is there somewhere else i should be looking. If there is I have missed it as I believe I have looked everywhere

The second thing is I want to lower the amount of colour the Tivo is putting out, I could adjust the TV but then when I watch a DVD or use it's tuner the picture will be too bland. I read the how to about adjusting the resolution of the screen to give dvd quality out and realise the colour is set from the same menu in palmod_config. However when I select the colour menu item in A/V settings it is as if I have pressed enter twice, I end up back at the same menu. It doesn't let me input any figures????

Help please on both counts.

Thanks.

Mick.

I Think this is what you might want:

From the mailing list:

To: Australian TiVo Owners list
Subject: Re: [oztivo] Colour Settings / Colour Saturation

telnet in

palmod_config

choose the source you're using
and then modify the saturation level (default will be shown).

reboot

Cheers,
Grant

It's starting early because endpad plus is turned on. It should also be adding 15 minutest to the end of the show.

There should be no conflict with shows that run after each other, as endpad plus is designed to only work when there is a gap.

You can see what is happening by looking in the endpad log in tivoweb.

There is a known problem with the version of endpad that is resident on the current oztivo release when the time between two programs is less then the amount of endpading set, but all that does is not set any endpadding.

you can read more about endpad plus here
