Help with FTP

I wish to setup tyserver on my Tivo and need connect via ftp to send the file. I cannot seem to connect via ftp. I have tried using the command prompt ftp command and CuteFTP, neither will connect. I can Telnet to the Tivo prompt and can also connect via Tivoweb.

Any advice?

I think my CuteFTP is broken. Filezilla worked just fine.
