hi all
still very new to this - have a simple query.
have been using a turbonet/ethernet setup to transfer recordings from my tivo to my pc via tytool. its incredibly slow - perhaps a third of a megabyte per minute. this means im taking one and half to two hours to download something that was recorded in an hour. have loked at various faq's which do say it will be slow but not this slow. have i missed something? is there anyway to jack up the speed to something closer to its potential?
cheers red
my setup: phillips 312, turbonet card (connected either with crossover cable) and win xp (2.0ghz/512 meg ram and 80 gb hdd)
