sky+ pvr

I was looking at the advanced setup menu on my pace sky decoder today and saw the option to "Select Your Satellite" within there were several "User Defined" satellites.

Would this allow a SKY+ PVR to tune into the SKY NZ signal since both SKY NZ and UK use NDS encryption?
Has anyone tried a SKY+ in NZ?

I'm sure the encryption versions differ between the two countries, ours is more in line with the US NDS encryption. Hence why we are trying to get a DirecTivo working here, It'd probably make sense to try a DirecTV STB first, as long as you can change the satellite definitions.

Although I have wanted to try a dual tuner UK box here to see what I can do, but haven't got around to sourcing one yet., probably get more success from a US DirecTV STB.
