Serial cable able to update guide info ?

Hey guys if i was to make a serial cable would that be sufficient for updating the prgoram info from minnie ?

Hi RjT,

Yes indeed. I used Serial PPP before owning a network card.

You configure your PC to route traffic from the serial port to its internet connection.

Depending on what O/S you're using have a look at "SerialPPPWithXP", "MacOSXSerialPPPWithTivo" of "NetworkingWithLinux".
