Selling modded Tivo [Archive]

Hi,
I have stuck my venerable 2010 Tivo 320 gig model on Ebay . Now, should I have done something to it or just unplug and sell as is. I have put as much in the ad in the hope someone might know. Any help appreciated.

As it is modified, no doing a full clear and delete everything (factory setting) won't turn it into a boat anchor. But then again the TiVo has no personal info stored on it so really no need. Just remember to tell the buyer to do at least a "redo guided setup" and change the postcode to their capital cities postcode and NOT their local postcode.
