Failed while negotiating

One of my 2 TiVos has come up with the dreaded "Failed while negotiating" when trying to connect to the server. The other connects OK, so it is probably a local issue. However, I thought I would post this, just in case someone else has experienced this problem.

It seems that I am the only one with the problem.

I successfully restored things using a 1 year old backup. To guard against the possibility that the backup would also I fail, what I did was to copy the backup on to the failed disc. This ran OK so I am back in business, with my backup still intact. In a few weeks I'll make a new backup.
