Connecting

Hello,

I'm in Launceston and just bought a working Tivo that has been upgraded to Oztivo. I bought it over the internet.

I thought I'd be lazy and put it on top of my unupgraded Tivo and just transfer all the cables so I did it correctly.

It didn't work.

Do I have to download something on my computer, which is connected to my TV. When it didn't work I reconnected all the cables tomy old Tivo and it works perfectly.

I hope you can help me.

Is your existing TiVo using wired Ethernet or a wireless adaptor to connect to your modem? If wireless did you ensure the wireless network name and password is correct when doing guided setup?
