Can someone please let me know which is the best version of ffmpeg for use on windows 10 x64. I have been using pytivo for many years, I had a recent windows disaster which required a reinstall, since then I have been having many files that seem to transfer (mainly mp4 & mkv) but not all of them that's what's making this whole thing so frustrating .avi files always seem to work ok.
The problem must be in the transcoding, the files work on the PC, okay, but that's it, I have redownloaded pytivo and ffmpeg all are in the same place as before, c root directory, I am willing to try anything at this stage even to reinstall windows if that would help.
