TiVo suddenly resetting for no good reason.

My old (original model) TiVo used to quite suddenly reset itself once or twice a week.
The reconditioned one I have now has done this twice this evening and it's a bit of a pain!!
Can anyone tell me why this would happen and what I can do about it?

It is most likely the hard disk is beginning to fail. We have volunteers around Australia and NZ who could help diagnose further. If you are interested I can give you the contact details if you email me.

Thanks Darren - this is a reconditioned model I have had for less than a month. I'll contact the guy who sold it to me.
