Change default recording retention time..

Hi all,

Is there anyway to change the default recorded program retention time from 3 days to something longer . At present I have to go to each recording and set it manually. Have looked at the setup but can't see anything. Have I missed something??

Retention time is based on how many recordings you have on the TiVo. Generally a TiVo with a decent sized hard disk will retain recordings for a fair while before it has to delete them to make way for more recordings.

You are correct, however, default is three days and you manually adjust each recording.
