View Full Version : NZ Guide Data Update

Who is providing/maintaining the guide data for NZ for HD TiVo or is it a subset of the Series 1 data?
Although generally good with 7 days of data it is missing any new channels. As I am also an S1 user I am always mindful of the state / age of the S1 guide server.

Please PM if any of this is sensitive.....

I'm also interested in having an understanding as to how this works, and hows its managed for NZ.

I'm keen to contribute too in getting this guide data accurate, as well as to try and help out with the newer channels which are not showing yet in EPG (3Life, and The Edge TV).

Noticed tonight that tv one has no guide information. Anybody else missing EPG for tv one?

TV1 has had missing data for at least the last two days. TV1+1 listings, however, appear to be fine.

Listings are back from 6am Saturday.

Great, yes TV One is back to normal. 3Life, and The Edge TV still don't have data but don't think they have ever worked.

I have just noticed TV3 has no listings. TV3 +1 is ok however.

I saw this on the geekzone forums.

Spong seems to have contact with the NZ developers:


The guys behind the scenes are well aware of this and hoping to tidy things up over the next few days. Please be patient.

BTW, I haven't heard from anyone with offers of alternative xmltv feeds. If you know of anyone or can provide support in this area, please PM me so that I can put you in contact with the developers. This will help long term reliability of the OzTivo guide in NZ.

Looks like its all working again now, including 3Life and The Edge TV.

With the change to a new NZ headend, there maybe a few glitches over the current week, but things look pretty good here. Please check that your season passes are still working by checking your ToDo list. I can pass on any issues found to the NZ developers.

Thank you Spong. I have had no glitches and everything now seems back to normal. great job to all those involved.
