Losing sound, still picture

The above keeps happening with my TiVo...only started today.

First sound stops, and 30 seconds later the picture remains on still/pause.

Only way to correct it is change channel.

edit...ps..it is always Prime7 Mt. Moombil, and instead of using my local postcode of 2450, I am using 2000

That sounds like you are losing signal (getting bad reception).

Seems feasible, except it isn't happening to the other channel 7 channels coming off the same transponder?

Is that a HD channel using MPEG4? Could be a similar issue that has been happening to people with Channel 9 HD for a couple of years now.

Yes it is.

The only thing that worries me, is if I leave it on that channel, and had recordings set, would the still/frozen transponder/channel interfere with a recording on the same channel?

Nobody has ever reported that. Only what you described above.
