I'm looking for volunteers to help with updating oztivo guide data in their own region within Australia. The specific challenge is where the broadcasters change the tv guide info just a few days before it is going to be shown (after we have loaded that guide data into the oztivo database). We have an automated way to find what the differences are (in other words what should be updated in oztivo guide database, assuming no one else updated it since the initial upload), but we don't have any automated way to make updates to the oztivo database to reflect those differences (at least not as far as I know). Would you be happy to receive an automated daily email with a list of differences and use the oztivo tvguide web interface to update the database to reflect some of those differences (whichever ones you think are important, subject to time you have available)?
I have put some information about how to do this at:
https://www.oztivo.net/twiki/bin/view/S3FAQ/S3OzTiVoHasWrongGuideData
If you are interested, then I suggest you send me a private message with
* your email address
* what region you are interested in
* what time of day you would like to get automated emails (or I can pick a time for you)
* do you currently have access to login to https://hd.oztivo.net/tivo-bin/tvguide.pl ? If not, what is your TWikiName (eg: DavidKeegel) so David can set up tvguide access for you. (If you haven't already registered for TWiki at hd.oztivo.net [or www.oztivo.net pre November 2017] then do that first.)
