Hi All,

I am a newbie to the forum and am not sure where to ask the question but here goes. I have had issues with my Tivo since changing my internet to bigpond. As such the tivo will not download the schedule etc and comes up with network cable unplugged as the error message. I have re-started it etc and I have an apple imac which may also be interfering with it. How do I fix it and oh I thought i'd be best going back into guided set up and I can not get out of there so is there anyway of getting out of guided set up? Sorry for all the questions however Tivo themselves have not been very helpful. Thanks in advance everyone.

Regards,
Jade

When you put the TiVo back in to guided setup mode that should mean it started from scratch, just like the day you bought it. Therefore it should have done through the process of trying to determine network settings.

Can you please give some information on how the TiVo is connected to your home internet? Did you change your modem when changing to Bigpond? If you believe the imac is interfering with the TiVo (unlikely) have you tried taking that out of the equation and experienced anything different?
