I have a old Phillips Tivo running version 3.0-01-1-000 and Channel eleven does not show in the list of "Channels you receive"
Other new Sydney FTA channels have appeared automatically but not channel 11. How can I force it to appear and get programming ?

It is in the Sydney FTA Digital lineup, so you should have it.

I'm assuminig you are using that lineup with a digital set top box.

What happens if you manually enter 11? do you see channel 11, and what does the TiVo Banner show?

Peter.

Yes using a digital set top box and I can change to channel eleven with the tivo control - the Tivo banner shows "To be Announced" .
Channel eleven does not appear in channels you recieve list.

That is very odd...

It's unlikely to an issue on our server with the headend as I'm sure we would have had other queries before now.

I would like to see what version of headend you have installed on your TiVo.

You can find it in the mfs using tivoweb, but I cannot give you step by step instructions as I am traveling away from my S1 TiVo's.

Peter.

I was away last week , I am back now. How can if find what headend version I am using from MFs ?

I still do no have any access to an S1.

It might in one of the other headend directories, I think there are 3 from memory. It should show which headends you have loaded. They start with AC,NS,VI,NT,WA Etc depending on which state you are in. You then click on the headend and it will show you a version number, along with other details.

But really, even if the version is not correct you TiVo is not downloading the correct one for some reason. You may be best off just re-running GS to setup your headend correctly.

I now have channel eleven after doing the GS . It took 6 attempts to get the program listing download to run. Now the time is set 4hrs early but luckily the program listings are 4hrs early too so it actually works.
I am hoping this will correct itself with a subsequent download.
Thanks for the help.

The time should sort itself out during the next daily call.

But the fact you had to try 6 times to get the download working points to other issues. Sounds like you may have networking issues or perhaps corruption/errors on the hard drive.
