Hi

My Thomson tivo (uk image) has been working fine for 8 months until 2 weeks ago when I noticed that it was low in guide data.
When checked the phone calls were failing with Failed Getting Account Status. Several daily calls were attempted with the same response.
Eventually the problem cleared but has returned about 3 days ago.

I am having no problems with Sony tivos and have made no changes to network access etc.

Any ideas

The first place to look would be the tclient and otclient logs. they should show where the call fails.

Have just tried to get example of failed call tclient.log but daily calls are now working again.
I have a copy of a good tcllient.log and will check for a failure to gain more info

Attached is a tclient log of a failed call.

Any ideas?

The error is here:
07/12:20:11:14: /tvbin/TClient: Executing HTTP POST: /tvbin/http_post /var/tmp/syslog.gz http://210.48.107.133:8000/tivo-service/acceptfile.cgi OFF ON
07/12:20:14:16: /tvbin/TClient: http POST command failed: timeout waiting for data

But I do not look after the NZ Server, you might be best to try and contact DJC.

DJC has retired.

But I look after the NZ server.

If you give me your IP address, I can have a look at the logs.
