Sky problems

Not a TiVo issue, but just trying to get an idea of the scale of the problem...Our Sky boxes froze sometime yesterday, rebooting the old black Pace unit got it back up and running, but the small, slimline Pace unit refuses to play ball, doesn't appear to be getting a signal, keeps complaining of 'rain fade' Sky are being as helpful as normal, telling us to reboot etc, earliest they can send someone out is Friday! Is this a general problem? Specific to the slimline Pace units maybe?

Service ids changed on some channels overnight on Tuesday AM. A reboot should fix the problem.

yeah right, that'll be why after numerous reboots, we've got to wait till Friday to get a techie out to fix it!
