My bro's tivo has started having problems with daily calls. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Until tonight, it turns out that the tivo was daily-calling the old NZ emulator (port 80). Some time ago, we had changed port to 8000 in /etc/oztivo.conf - however, until tonight /etc/tclient.conf was (incorrectly) set to port 80. So we fixed that:, ie:
127::127.0.0.1:8000:::
(emuproxyZa is running).

Now when making a daily call, /var/log/tclient suggests that the slices are being downloaded correctly (so this is not a connection nor proxy issue). However, the indexing seems to fail. Attached are relevant bits from /var/log/tclient (has been split into 3 parts to attach here).

We are way out of our depth with these - but I think the last file shows the problem:

Jul 24 23:49:56 (none) db[162]: loadgeneric errRpt: nGeneric=237 nerr=5 (type=62 svrid=8000000) lastErr=0x0
Jul 24 23:49:56 (none) db[162]: loadgeneric nProcessed=242 (ty=62 subty=0 svrid=8000000 vers=2): nNotLoaded=237 nSnow=0 nComplete=0 nIncomplete=0 nerr=5
Jul 24 23:49:56 (none) avalPP[162]: DBLoad Failed with errcode <3000d>!!!!!
Jul 24 23:49:56 (none) avalPP[162]: post processing of file /var/packages/IR-oztivo-v232.slice.gz (2) returns FAILURE_0003000D (3000d)

Any idea how we can fix this?

Note that the box is fully updated 1.6.2.

Cheers!
Marty

I'm pretty sure you'll have to do a clear and delete all to change from the old port 80 emulator to the newer 8000 one.

Edit: Found the link:http://forums.oztivo.net/showthread.php?t=959

"Existing legacy users wanting to convert to the new system will need to do a clear and delete everything then rerun guided setup against port 8000. That is edit you /etc/tclient.conf and change port 80 to 8000."

Thanks mate - the downloading has begun. My bro is estimating ~60 hrs barring no more power cuts ;-)
