Prepare disk on a Mac?

Hi,
Is there a way to prepare the hard disk for installation into a TiVo using a Mac instead of PC? I desperately want to get a TiVo but am in a Mac-only household... any suggestions appreciated

PC only. You could always ask someone nicely to assist if you chip in for return postage of the hard disk ;)

We are currently working on a USB-IDE solution, but this is still months away.
