hi all.
i have a series one tivo - with a turbonet.
it's running an oztivo 2.1 image.
i recently got sky again after 4 years of not using my tivo and thought i would try to get it going...
i hooked it all up a few day ago - and today - it was all working guide data and all - except didn't have some of the channels i guess have been added since i was last using sky. i guess i should have left it working..
but i put it into maintenance mode via tivoweb - and went though GS agin - hoping to get the new channels..
now it fails (service unavailable) on the setup call.
can anyone help me?

It sounds like you are probably still using the "old" emulator on port 80, instead of changing to the "new" emulator on port 8000.

You'll possibly need to run a "clear and delete all" before changing over, so it might be easier to just wipe the harddrive and install a new image from here:

thanks for the reply!
i have done a clear all - too an hour or so - and followed that page of instructions.
is there anything i need to do before the GS?
how do i change to port 8000?
i don't have the ability to re-image - i use a mac.

how do i change to port 8000?
From the link above:
Existing legacy users wanting to convert to the new system will need to do a clear and delete everything then rerun guided setup against port 8000. That is edit you /etc/tclient.conf and change port 80 to 8000.

To be a little more precise, you most likely have a line in /etc/tclient.conf which reads
127::210.48.107.133:80:::

you'll need to change it to
127::210.48.107.133:8000:::

Hopefully once you have made that change you'll be able to continue through the guided setup.
