Hey,
I don't have access to the internet, so my TiVo can't do daily calls. For TV guide data, I just do it manually every few days or so.
But how do I update the time manually? It's now one hour out.
Thanks for your help.

I used this:
http://www.weethet.nl/english/tivo_setclock.php
It seems to have worked. Not sure what'll happen when I connect it to the net again, but for now it works.

If you are not going to conect it to the internet, then just use the settime command

Your reply came through while I was answering a another post so didn't see it.
Yes settime is fine as long as your TiVo never does a dailycall or ntpdate command.

When I plug it back into the internet and make it do a daily call, what will happen?
What do I have to do when this place is finally connected to the internet?

I will blow up in a huge cloud of smoke :)
Actually, it depends on the time of year.
I assume you have not updated the timezone files, so it will set the time to whatever it thinks is the correct time.
not a big issue, but might cause problems if around the time of the old summer time change.
Peter.
