Clearing the 30 minute Buffer

Hi,
Is there any way of clearing the recording buffer with the remote control so that if you manually record a program it does not have all the unwanted recording at the beginning.

Agreed, what catdog suggested is to change briefly to another channel then flick back to the one you want to start recording.

Each time you change channel it loses the buffer and starts from scratch.
