This is not a recommendation of any of the suppliers above, it simply details my experiences with them on a single transaction
YMMV

Note that the US to AU dollar exchange rate can and does vary

Lodge a claim with PayPal. So long as you have kept all your attempts at correspondence you will have no issues initiating a claim. I bet the seller soon responds when they get the notice of intent to reverse transaction.

The payment is sitting in limbo
It has gone out of my account but he has not claimed it
Paypal said wait 30 days and it will be automatically reversed.
They will not take any proactive action.

All my US transactions were fine, only problems with an Aussie seller.

Then PayPal have done all they are able to do. Next move will be the seller's and what they do dictates the action PayPal can take.

They will not take any proactive action.
They are not allowed to.

Hmm, interesting.

I tried to win this item too. Obviously, your bid was higher, but a couple of days later I got a second chance offer from fuzzymuff, with this message: "Hi, pretty sure the first buyer is a fake. Let me know if your interested."

I note that fuzzymuff got positive feedback from the other one he/she was selling. Is it possible that there's some genuine communication problem?

Added Wireless Access Point details

Netgear WG602 Wireless Access Point
set to client mode to work with my WGR614 wireless router
Was cheaper to buy a new Wireless Access Point and set it to client mode than to buy a new Wireless Bridge - go figure

WPA and Mac filtering working fine with this combination; WG602 v4 and WGR614 v4
