Video extract to 2nd hard drive

Hi,

I've done some searching and haven't found what I'm looking for. I seem to remember a HowTo about attaching a 2nd hard drive to the TiVo used for extracting and transferring video to the PC (instead of using network transfer methods).

Was I just dreaming? Anyone help point me in the right direction? I have a few TV series on the TiVo, about 30 1hr shows, that I would like to move to the PC for processing; at 100mb I may die before the ftp's complete (or it feels like it anyway!)..

There was some talk about someone wanting to try it, but I am not aware of any success.

The quickest method would be by direct extraction to a PC.
