upgrading to svideo

I bought some svideo cables in the hope of getting slightly better picture quality. Its all plugged in however i dont think its outputting to the cable.
I went back into the guided setup by booting in maintenence mode but the option of selecting how the tivo is connected is not there any more.
How do I get the Svideo to work

Do you mean S-Video from your TiVo to your TV or from a STB to your TiVo?

If everything is working on the hardware side, the TiVo always outputs S-Video and composite, there is no adjustment needed.

If your talking about changing the input from a STB then the easiest way is to put the TiVo into NTSC mode and use the on screen menus to change the setup.
