Hi all,
Thanks to the OZTivo community for maintaining such a great little hobby....I recently brought over a Tivo from the US and installed a 120gig Seagate drive and a Turbonet card.
Everything installed and worked well...
just wondering how people have routed the ethernet cable through the box, the lid seems the easiest choice, then I don't have to pull out the main board, etc so that I can drill a hole.
thanks for any suggestions.

I have one of my cable's coming out a hole just near the fan in the base. Don't have to remove the MB to use this one.

The other one comes out a hole near the fan on the back, where I cut one of the tabs off the lid.

Just under the 2nd hard disk bay there is a cross tab hole cut. I Use this and cut out the four small pieces of metal - thsi gives me a big enough hole to put an RJ45 connector through - i then cable tie a RJ45-RJ45 coupler on the back of the TIVO - my cable from my switch goes to thsi and the short cable from inside the TIVO goes to the other side

thanks for the suggestions, I opted for and outlet near the fan. I was able to squeeze the plug through...
