I have seen somewhere, but cannot find it again, that you can sort your Now Playing list.
Does anyone know what the Trickey for this is and how to make it default at startup to keep the list sorted?

There is no trickey command as such. It's a backdoor code.
Here's how you do it:
Go to your Now Playing List (generally, press TiVo twice)
Now press these four buttons in this sequence:
Slow - 0 (zero) - Record - Thumbs Up
You should hear three dings - that's means it's ready!
Now you can press 1, 2, or 3:
1 = Sort by Recording Date
2 = Sort by Expiration Date
3 = Sort Alphabetically

Thanks Peter.
Do you know how to set this as default? You have to go through the sequence again

I think there is a way, can't remember on the top of my head. Never bothered as I like to see shows in the default recording date order. sorting by alpha can be a pain when primetime shows run after each other and you have to search for which show was following to find the end of the show.
