Quick question because I am not familiar with Linux. How do I edit the EndPadPlus. Config file. I've telnet and entered "rw' but that does not seem to work. So what makes a file writable. Also is it EndpadPlus.config that has to be changed if I want to reduce starting time to 1 minute not 5 (startpad 1)
Thanks
Regards
Ralph

the command rw changes the file system from the default read only to read/write. It does not edit any files. For that you need to use a text editor, for example joe. Type:
joe <filename to edit>
once finished editing, hold down the keys CTRL and K and then release these and press X to exit and save changes.
Then remember to put the file system back into read only with the command ro

And the correct file to modify is
/hack/endpad-1.5.1/endpad.config
(Even though it's endpadplus)
Peter.
