Xvid encoding of TiVo files

Morning all,

I encode my Tivo files to xvid for watching later on my PC.
But im having trouble getting them into the standard sizes of 350mb and 700mb.

I have followed several guides found on the net but the files always end up much bigger than the 350mb of 700mb I want.

Does anyone have a good formula or calculator they use for this stuff?

I want to do two pass, mp3 (4800, 128kbps) encoding.

Anyone?

Hey all, I think I found a great solution.

PocketDivxEncoder. Its free and has most of the options I need, file size, audio quality, xvid etc etc.

Give it a go and let me know what you think :)
