Thomson Remote, controlling TV/Stereo

Hi Guys,

I've had a tivo for quite some time but I never got around to setting up the tivo remote to control the sound on my TV/Stereo. I've located the guide at http://minnie.tuhs.org/twiki/bin/view/Hintsortips/ProgramTiVoRemoteControl and step one mentions pressing and holding he Tivo button and the TV Power Button. My Philips Tivo shipped with a thomson remote, and doesnt appear to have a TV Power button. Is there anyway to program a Thomson remote?

Simply substitue 'TV Power' for 'Standby'. :)

It's amazing how quickly this sort of info shows up on these forums, I'm very appreciative - Cheers! I must have spent half an hour googling it and nowhere else would mention the process of programming the damn remote. Alas, I've tried all of the Sanyo codes and the best result was the volume up/down changing the channel on the TV.

Yeah I found that using the Channel buttons was a better way to do it. I tried all the listed codes for my Sony TV, and none worked, then spent 30 seconds scrolling through and got a match.
