Tivo remote not responding + TivoWeb not working after few days

Hello,

About 3 months ago I upgraded from image 1.4 > 1.5 for my phillips Tivo.

Since then I have been experiencing the following problems:

1). After about 1 week after a power reset, Tivo will not respond to any commands from the remote, when power is reset it will then work.

2). TivoWeb will not work from the PC, but will after a power reset.

I am unsure if I should go back to the previous version as I did not seem to have any problems with it (v1.4).

Any solutions to the problems? Or am I better off downgrading versions.

You may wish to upgrade your TW to TWP as it has a few mechanisms to reduce the effect of the "v3.0 Event Bug". Instructions (and the package) can be found here (http://minnie.tuhs.org/twiki/bin/view/Software/UpgradeToTiVoWebPlus).

I have moved this thread, and agree with Thomson to give his TWP a go.

As a side note the TW included in 1.4 and 1.5 are both the same build, so you would eventually get the same issues with either image.
