are there plans to add MTV to the line up?
I haven't got channell 35 in my channels I recieve listing yet
It (and logo) was added to the new emulator on port 8000 a few weeks back. If you on this emulator, remeber to check the "channels you receive" to enable it.

nope .. I'm using port 80
127::210.48.107.133:80:::
should I be changing? I have seen any issues for ages
Both 80 and 8000 use the same data, so neither really have issues.
The headends on 80 are considered legacy, the current emulator is 8000, its the one we update.
If MTV is important to you, how about trying the change. We are looking for volunteers to test/document the process on this thread (http://forums.oztivo.net/showthread.php?t=1158).
Given the testing that is going on to move from legacy to current headends, I've had a crack at adding MTV into the legacy setup.
Can someone using the lagacy setup confirm this has worked.

Weird, I'm still on legacy emu (port 80), no sign of channel 35 in the list of channels I receive, I've tried a reboot, no effect. What am I missing?
Tony, have you doubled checked the 'channels you receive' menu to make sure its not available...

yep, definitely not there. I assume you don't need me to try swapping to 8888 now? Sorry I didn't get round to it in the week, son works nights, I work days, so the earliest we were going to be able to do it was today!
btw, sons tivo, which is running nz image on port 80 has got channel 35!
a) Can you manually force a faily call against the emulator thanks. tivoweb/phone
b) What is your post code?
c) PM me your tivoid.

Done the above, in checking things through, noticed I've got the dreaded warped clock, last index was friday, done the timestamp thing and forced index, see what that does. Only seem to get the warped clock issue after manually forcing calls, did one sometime last week to try to pick up ch35, that's probably what did it. I do the forced call via putty, not tivoweb, still same problem it seems!
OK, not sure what you're up to but you are running the current emulator headend on your main tivo, you must have setupon port 8000. (So in relation to the other testing thread, you are not a useful test subject)
So since you setup off port 8000, you should really be on port 8000?
The reason your headend hasn't updated is that the headend version on the current system is higher than the legacy version. So the tivo doesn't see the lagacy update as an update ... suggest moving back to port 8000, you'll then be updated.

I didn't do the initial setup on my tivo, but I'm sure it was initially using ed's emulator, then when that failed I switched to 8000 to get logo's, then back to 80, which at the time was the main emulator port.
OK, well, your best bet to get an updated headend is off port 8000.

When I changed to 8000 a week or so ago, without clearing and deleting, I got a failed call.
Bit of a catch 22 really ... check your PM's
