    Question Nanvue Format

    Hi

I have used nanVue to download some programmes off my TIVO and when I go to view them in Media Player 9 (9? Yes, I run W2K) I get the error Cannot download Codec?

What codec should I have and where do I get it?

I don't use nanvue, but if you have downloaded .ty files from the TiVo then WMP9 won't play it.

Try googling tivo mplayer for a player that will play it, or use nanvue to convert it to another format.

    Question

    Pete

I want to put the Programs onto DVD after editing them.

Perhaps I should also be asking...

1 What can I edit the files with once they are in AVI format?
2 What can I use to put the AVI onto DVD?

If DVD is your final goal, your probably better using nanvue to convert to mpg then use one of the many mpg to dvd convertors.

    Peter.

PS please choose which forum you want to get your answers from, asking in multiple forums just wastes the time of those of us that respond to your questions.
