    TiVo HD remote with Tevion TV

    Hi There,

    does anyone know how I can get my TiVo remote to work with my Tevion TV? its a 50" Flat screen (CRT) just want the volume buttons to function the codes suggested by the TiVo setup dont seem to work?

    The remote is preprogrammed with some of the major manufacturers codes.

    Tevion is an Aldi brand name, but could have been made by a known manufaturer.

    Did you try going though all the codes using the 0999 method?

    If you have and you waited at least 2 seconds between keypresses, then your TV is not supported by the remote.

    Hi, I wasn't aware of the above method but I will try it tonight and report back, thanks for the suggestion.

    Hi Peter,

    Just wanted to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the tip, took a few presses but the remote works (all functions) power / volume / input / mute so thats fantastic no longer need to keep fiddling with two remotes.
