    What Peter suggests would be the best starting point. Eliminates the wireless portion and ensures everything else is working correctly. Once that is established you go from there.

    Ok i have unplugged it and plugged it back in and im getting 0.0.0.0

    Now does the MAC address play a big part?

    I dont have any mac address and its disabled..

    The wireless bridge works fine with the xbox and computer without any other a LAN or Wireless connection.

    What do you mean you don't have a mac address? I assume Darren would have set this for you. Has something changed?

    Sure did. I include a double sided A4 sheet of paper with every TiVo I work on outlining what I have done. The copy that Erhan would have received lists exactly what the network configuration is along with the MAC address of the TiVo.

    I think from reading the replies Erhan may be getting MAC address and IP address confused.

    Ok i think you guys have gotten the wrong idea

    The IP is 0.0.0.0 (yes i know what a ip is)
    The Mac address is on the A4 which Darren has given me.

    My Netcomm Wireless Modem Router With Voip has the Mac Address
    area which is disabled.

    Now I think I need to add the following to the routers Mac area.

    Mac Addres for my laptop to the router
    Mac addres for the wireless bridge to the router
    Mac address for my Media Center PC to the router
    Mac address for the Tivo to the router

    Then enable the MAC address area in the router for them to work?

    I'm guessing this is what I need to do?

    If the MAC address area in the router is currently disabled and you are getting other devices to work (eg your computer and xbox or whatever) then this suggests that the "disabled" option means it is allowing all to connect without blocking any devices. Turning it "on" would then mean you need to specify the MAC address of every device on your network.

    So, no. I am quite certain that leaving it disabled will mean MAC address filtering is disabled.

    As previously suggested have you tried connecting the TiVo directly (wired) to the router? Does this work?

    Oh Darren if only you knew how far the router is from the tivo.

    The router is on the fridge in the kitchen, that's where our phone line is

    What i will do is bering the lcd on in the kitchen and the tivo and set it up for testing. If i get the tivoweb working then i guess theres a firewall or some setting in the bridge i need to change.

    Actully I'll see if i can get a 10 meter Cat5 cable from somewhere and test it like that.. seems easier then bringing everything into the kitchen.. huh?

    I'll give that a go in the next few days and see how I go..

    That would be a good idea. The purpose is not to make it a permanent wired connection but to eliminate as many points of failure as possible.

    If the wired connection works then we progress from there and add in the wireless components.

    In times like this it is much easier breaking down the problem into segments rather than trying to solve everything at once.

    The thing is though does tivoweb actually support editing of the epg?

    if so what else can the tivoweb do?

    TiVoWeb can do many things, too many to list here try a search for yourself.

    What do you mean by 'editing of the epg'?

    From what I understand, without an IP right now you should not be getting any guide data and that should be your biggest concern.
