yep, I'm missing TV1 guide data too...
Careful guys, whoever looks after the emulator does it as a favour to all of us. Let's not be too demanding!
Is there going to be a fix on the emulator?
The TV3 guide data issue seems to be taking a long time to fix, that's what makes me wonder how much longer we'll have the brilliant service we've had for the last decade!
I'm guessing the clock is ticking to when we'll lose Series 1 tivo here in NZ..I have a NZ HD TiVo, but no UHF signal....is my only alternative MySky? Really don't want to go there!
Still no data for 3 or 3+1 on my Tivo...
Still seems to be a problem, I forced a call at around 8pm yesterday and still have no TV3 guide data.....btw, I'm using freeview postcode, not Sky...
Same issue for me...no TV3 and TV3+1 data for days...
There isn't a problem with TiVo IP address as I can hook into it via putty or TiVoweb and force a daily call etc etc. The problem is that it can't get an internet connection via the PC....something...
I've just moved house to an area with no landline or broadband connections, so am using a Vodem stick in my PC to get internet access. I've connected my Series 1 TiVo direct to my PC via Ethernet...
Hard wired TiVo to router with Ethernet cable, got a daily call completed with no problem, so fault must be with the Linksys WiFi extender/ bridge I've been using to connect the TiVo to our wireless...
Hmm...still unable to get a connection, TiVo spends 5 mins or so "connecting" then says "failed, service unavailable" I've tried rebooting and no effect.....any suggestions?
Is there a server problem? Got a clean daily call yesterday, but today keeps coming back "service unavailable" I can telnet in etc, so network connection is ok.....
Having resolved my various problems after last weeks slice glitch, I notice that the programme data for Freeview Choice channel (12 and 18) is showing "Shopping Channel" for all programmes....
Found the solution to the indexing problem..."warped clock"...so that's all fixed up now.
I ended up having to do a clear and delete all, then repeated guided setup, that got re indexed data...but I just noticed it hasn't indexed since Monday, so season passes etc not working...
I've cleared guide data etc and forced daily call, now have clean guide data but seems to be taking an age to reindex....10 hours so far.....
Since the guide data problem earlier this week, my tivo seems to have lost the ability to carry out season passes, also searcging for programmes by title doesn't work. Any suggestions ?
Having forced a daily call earlier this evening, my tivo seems to be stuck 'preparing data 98%' 2 mins......any ideas?
thanks from me too!
That was it, reordered channels on the Strong receiver and all is well. Thanks for the help :)
New Strong decoder now working fine with tivo, only issue now is that the channels generated using the 12110 postcode are quite different to the set being received via the decoder (after a fresh...
TiVo is emitting IR code, but the code is incorrect for the particular model of DishTV that we inherited with our rental house, so yesterday I bought another DishTV (model 7070R) and that doesn't...
Apologies, careful checking reveals TiVo is sending out IR from both sources...so it'sIR coding that's wrong. I used Oztivo DishTV code during GS....but clearly this doen't work with the particular...
Hmm, interesting.....no sign of an IR transmission from Tivo box, neither from the built in blaster or the outputs on the end of the (new from weaknees) IR cable. TiVo was changing channels on a Shy...
