Has anyone succesful with alternate wifi adapters for the tivo? i.e. installed alternative drivers from Puppy Limux distros.
I've a coupe of original Tivo adapters, but one of my family would like wifi as well and I have a few other wifi adapters with various chips eg RT8188, 8192.
Not here or overseas that I know of.
The only way that WiFi is possible without the "official" device is via ethernet and a device that can be used in bridge mode.

BTW: the official adaptors are around on ebay and reasonably priced at present (no it is not me selling them!)
