Toowoomba (Darling Downs) SE Qld

I'm presently in Toowoomba (Darling Downs), S.E. Qld. Help getting the EPG correct would be appreciated.

Looking at the TiVo Guide:
Channels: 10 to 13 not named at all "To be announced"; 36 to 30 (all named SBS) "To be announced" are radio channels; 200 and 201 "To be announced" are radio channels.

Also Channel:55, Name: SBN does not show in Guide - on the main TV it seems to be a religious channel unique to this part of the world, not sure if it is Qld wide.

7TWO channel 62 seems to have a few incorrect times and shows. For example:
Trying to record a program "Bargain Hunt" on channel 62 and it's time is almost always out by a few minutes. It also incorrectly shows "Bargain Hunt" at 6.30pm. (BTW I also have Kodi running on a Raspberry connected and it records "Bargain Hunt" correctly.)

I don't know how the TiVo EPG is compiled but I'll take a couple of guesses ...

1. I assume that the EPG is 'as provided' by the FTA stations which, as we know. is notoriously inaccurate.

2. 7Two "Bargain Hunt" is listed at 6.30pm NSW / VIC so perhaps the QLD EPG has a DST issue?

On looking into this further the 7Two "Bargain Hunt" is replaced by a repeat of the 6pm news from channel 7 here in Twba. Then the shows after that seem to go a few minutes longer throwing the time out by 11.30pm "Bargain Hunt".

I also see as a footnote on http://hd.oztivo.net/tivo-bin/stationday.pl "Derived Station S3-Brisbane-7TWO"

So that explains it as Twba must be slightly different.

I have added a new section "Unsupported Channels" in http://hd.oztivo.net/twiki/bin/view/...WrongGuideData to document the Australian channels which OzTiVo does not keep guide data for, which should clarify the situation for SBN, SBS Radio, etc.

S3-Toowoomba-7TWO is independent of S3-Brisbane-7TWO (which is derived from 7TWO-Qld).
In Toowoomba you should be able to verify that your guide data is different from Brisbane by seeing "Seven Local News" in the guide data for 7TWO at 6:30pm on weekdays, in contrast "Seven Local News" does not appear in S3-Brisbane-7TWO (or 7TWO-Qld).

On the issue of Bargain Hunt starting late there are a couple of things which can be done:
(1) you can adjust your season pass to stop recording say 5 minutes (or 10 minutes) after the scheduled end time
(2) if the issue is because Seven Network changed the timing in the published guide just a few days beforehand, you could have a look at http://forums.oztivo.net/showthread....cal-guide-data and consider volunteering to do guide updates for Toowoomba.
