Access TV guide while watching recorded programs?

Hi. I have a query that I haven't been able to find a post on (or in the FAQs). Is it possible to access the TV Guide whilst watching recorded (ie "Now Playing") programs? I've wondered as it's a bit quicker than having to go to "Live TV", accessing the guide and returning to the recorded program you were watching. A bit of a luxury I know but there a few useful shortcuts that aren't mentioned in a lot of places that I've came across later on that I wouldn't expect the Tivo to have! Thanks for any info anyone can provide.
