TiVo Remote vs Hisense TV

Hi,

I just bought a TiVo and was delighted to learn that it can also control basic TV functions. I was even more thrilled when I went to set up the remote via the TiVo and Hisense was listed as a brand.

Alas, the fun ended there as the code (3009) did absolutely nothing. I also tried the 0999 method, but no luck there either (although I'm going to try again tonight in case I went too quickly).

Just wondering whether anyone has had any luck with the TiVo remote and a Hisense LCD?

Make sure you take your time with the 0999 method, it would be a pain to find out later that you skipped over a code that worked.
