My daughter has a TiVo that was used through a wired ethernet connection. She has recently moved to an apartment in Randwick that has no wired connection but they have a 3G Optus? wireless device in their street and use a dongle for connecting their computer to the internet.
The question is has anyone experience in using a 3G router such as a Netcomm N3G002W to permanently connect the TiVo to it so that it can make its daily calls? The TV signal will be via a set-top box as before.

Mike I'm using that exact router with my network at home. Although using three's wireless USB modem.

Although I'm having trouble it my IR setup at the moment -- setting up and getting daily updates through the router have been solid as a rock. It's been running for over week now.
