View Full Version : Tivoweb not working; new IP add is http://0.0.0.0

Since morning I am unable to connect to tivoweb from my pc. Restarted tivo with the remote control and got a new message & http address of ://0.0.0.0.

Have rebooted twice, and also checked the network cables, but to no avail.

Webtivo was working fine last night. Tivo otherwise is working even now, but trust network connection is lost. Previous IP address was 10.1.1.2

Appreciate advise and next steps to investigate.

P.s - I am not really a computer wiz, so hope this does not need new programming!!

Is there a light on your router to show that the TiVo cable is plugged in and rx a signal?

Did you set your TiVo up with a fixed IP or DHCP?

If DHCP, have you made any changes to your router that may have turned DHCP server off?

Great advise, checked out the router lights and found one ethernet outlets on router had an issue, while other are working fine. (bit strange, would have thought it will be all or nothing!)

Webtivo is working again, and have also made a succesfull manual call. Have yet to receive an update IP address message on tivo tv screen. Trust it will come through, meantime webtivo is working fine as far as I can see.

Depends. Have you had a storm recently? A spike could have killed the port.

Only if you reboot the TiVo.
